Homecoming
...written on 2004-09-24, @ 6:04 p.m.
Things are looking up.
The senior stalker of mine has asked me to the Homecoming Dance. I turned him down...gently of course. He asked about me last night at the pep rally (I was with FFA at a Leadership Conference). He didn't talk to me today.
I am going to the dance. Dad finally told me yes after Mom convinced him that telling me no would tell me he has no trust in me so Dad said "Don't screw up tonight." I thought but didn't say "Thanks Dad. Glad I know you want me to have fun."
Today was the homecoming parade. I rode on the tennis float. The tennis team was supposed to ride the buses taking all the parade participants over, but there were only two buses and we had to fit band, football, softball, floats, one puppy, and chaperones onto the buses. So the tennis girls were quick thinkers sprinted in front of a moving bus full of football boys and pilled into two cars. I was in the car with Lisa, Lori, Jessice, and Halley. They turned up the music really loud and we got worried about getting lost.
Coah was supposed to drive the truck but didn't show up until it was almost time to start, then she needed posters for her daughters float and sped off. She came back with posterboard and Crayola markers. I was forced to draw pawprints. She didn't even drive the truck because her daughter wouldn't stop crying unless she was with her. Mr. Chruchwell drived.
I am now an unoffical band geek or band nerd (whatever you prefer) because even though I can't play an instrument and I am not in band I fit in with them. So I was made unoffical. Whooo!! Yay!!
After the parade I went with Molly, Nautia, Donna, and Dustin to get shakes. We brought one back to school to Michael and found out he doesn't like shakes cuz they make him sick. So I wrestled it away from Dustin and because Jason tried (tried being the key word) to help me I gave it to him. I think he drank the whole thing in 2 minutes. Uhhhhh...
I have to go work a both for Key Club until half time at the football game so I had better stop typing and go.
I really hope we win Homecoming. We play Louisiana Bulldogs.
